Creator Terms
Last updated: October 20, 2026
These Creator Terms are an agreement between you and RCX Digital Labs LLC (“Defend the Org,” “we,” or “us”) about the creator program. They apply alongside our Terms and Conditions. By applying to the program, by accepting these terms on your creator dashboard, or by accepting a deal, you agree to them.
1. The Program
The Defend the Org creator program pays approved creators for new members who join with their creator code. Joining is by application and approval only, and approval is at our discretion.
We may end your participation, pause your codes, or change or end the program at any time and for any reason. That includes, for example, content we believe doesn't fit Defend the Org, or conduct or publicity that we believe reflects badly on our brand. You may also leave at any time by telling us. Section 8 explains what you're paid when your participation ends.
If documents conflict, this order applies: a separate contract signed by both of us, then the deal you accepted on your dashboard, then these Creator Terms, then our Terms and Conditions.
2. Your Code
Your code gives new members a discount and credits you for them. A new member is someone who has never had a paid invoice on any Defend the Org account, as shown by our records. Free members who have never paid count; people who have paid before, even if they have since cancelled, do not. Buyers must be signed in to their own account to redeem a code. We may decline to credit duplicate or related accounts.
A member is credited to you when they enter your code at checkout, or when they check out within 30 days of following your creator link. Our records decide which creator, if any, a member is credited to.
The discount your code gives is shown on our pricing page when the code is applied (currently 20% for a limited period). We may change the discount for new members at any time.
You may not: use your own code or credit yourself, your household, or anyone acting for you; post your code on coupon, deal, or cashback sites; bid on, or use in ads, domains, or social handles, our name, trademarks, or misspellings of them; pay, rebate, or otherwise reward people for signing up; use bots, fake accounts, or cookie-stuffing; send spam or unsolicited messages; or aim your promotion at children under 16.
3. Disclosures and Your Content
You must clearly disclose that you earn money when people join with your code. Put the disclosure in the content itself, where people will see it before your link or code (and say it out loud in video or audio). A disclosure only in your bio or profile is not enough. This is required by the US FTC's endorsement rules and similar laws elsewhere.
Don't make claims about jobs, salaries, certifications, or results people will get from Defend the Org, don't make any claim about us you can't back up, and don't post fake or incentivized reviews.
We may review content that promotes your code. If we ask you to change or remove content, you will do so within 48 hours.
Your content, and the claims you make in it, are your own. We don't review everything you publish and we are not responsible for what you say. Section 11 covers what happens if your content leads to a claim against us.
4. Earnings and Your Deal
What you earn is set by your deal: for example a flat amount for each new member who pays, a monthly retainer for each of those members while they stay subscribed (up to an agreed number of months), a share of what they pay, or a mix. We offer you a deal on your creator dashboard, and it takes effect only when you accept it there. We keep a record of each deal you accept.
Each member is credited under the deal in force on the day they first pay. If we offer you a changed deal, it applies only to members who join after you accept it; members you have already brought in keep earning under the deal they joined under, until your participation ends.
A revenue share is calculated on what the member actually paid, after taxes, refunds, and chargebacks.
5. Monthly Payment
We pay once a month for each calendar month (Pacific time). Each month's earnings are held for 30 days after the month ends, so refunds and chargebacks can land first, and are paid after that hold clears.
We pay in US dollars by PayPal, to the account you give us on your creator dashboard. Any other payment method has to be agreed in advance in a separate written contract: contact ryan@rcxdigitallabs.com. You pay any PayPal, receiving, and currency-conversion fees.
The minimum payout is $25. You can set a higher minimum on your creator dashboard. A balance below your minimum rolls over to the next month.
If you think a monthly statement is wrong, tell us within 60 days of it becoming payable. If we can't pay you for 12 months, for example because you haven't given us a working PayPal account, we'll tell you, and if it still can't be paid the balance is forfeited.
6. Refunds, Chargebacks, and Set-Off
If a member you brought in is refunded or charges back a payment, in full or in part, what you earned from that payment is taken back off your balance in the same proportion. If that leaves a month's balance below zero, the shortfall is carried forward and taken from your future earnings. We will never ask you to repay that kind of shortfall beyond your future earnings.
Money paid to you because of fraud, a breach of these Creator Terms, or a payment error is different: you must repay it when we ask. We may set off anything you owe us against anything we owe you.
7. Taxes and Your Status
You take part as an independent business, in control of your own content, schedule, and methods. Nothing in these Creator Terms makes you our employee, agent, partner, or joint venturer, and you can't make commitments on our behalf.
You are responsible for your own taxes on what you earn, including in your own country. Once our payments to you in a calendar year reach $1,500, we'll ask you for a tax form (a W-9 if you are a US person; a W-8BEN, or W-8BEN-E for a business, if you are not), which you upload securely on your creator dashboard. We may hold further payments until we have it. We or our payment provider may report payments to tax authorities where the law requires it.
You confirm that you are not on a government sanctions list and not located in a country subject to comprehensive US sanctions.
8. Ending Your Participation
When your participation ends, for any reason, your codes stop working. You are paid what you have already earned: earnings credited before the end date, on the normal monthly schedule once their hold clears, less any refunds or chargebacks that land during the hold. Retainer and revenue-share earnings for months after the end date stop.
If your participation ends because of fraud, self-referral, or a breach of these Creator Terms, any earnings tied to that conduct are forfeited. While we look into a concern we may withhold payment for up to 90 days, and we'll tell you when we do.
9. Our Brand and Your Name
We give you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Defend the Org name and logo only to promote your code and the program, following any brand guidelines we give you. The license ends when your participation ends.
You allow us to name you as a Defend the Org creator and to link to your public content when we promote the program.
10. Confidentiality and Data
Your deal terms, and any non-public information we share with you about the program, are confidential. Don't share them without our permission.
We share only totals with you, such as how many members you brought in and what you earned. We never share members' personal information with creators.
11. Liability and Indemnity
Our total liability to you under these Creator Terms is limited to the earnings payable to you in the 12 months before the claim. Neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential damages or lost profits. This applies in place of the limitation of liability in our Terms and Conditions for anything about the creator program.
You will defend and indemnify RCX Digital Labs LLC against claims, fines, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, the claims you make about us, your breach of these Creator Terms, or your breaking the law, including advertising and endorsement law.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Creator Terms. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above, tell you, and ask you to accept the new version on your creator dashboard. If you haven't accepted within 30 days of being told, we may pause your codes or end your participation. Members you have already brought in keep earning under the deal they joined under, as Section 8 describes.
13. Governing Law
These Creator Terms are governed by the same law and venue as our Terms and Conditions (Section 12, Governing Law and Venue).
14. Assignment and Notices
We may transfer these Creator Terms, for example to a company that takes over Defend the Org. You may not transfer them. We may send you notices by email or on your creator dashboard.
